So, kiddies, believe it or not, your earnest blogger who loves all things gadget, used to work at the Sharper Image. So, I keep up with the offerings there. What is below is not actually a gadget. There are no buttons to push and no flashing lights. The Sharper Image is offering up this "Charging Valet" for 50% off this month. This little device provides a bit of cord management, a spot to keep your coins/keys, etc. I checked one out at the local store, and it looks like it would fit an iPod, a phone, and a Blackberry or camera.
It has, inside, a small 5 outlet power strip. It seems like it would really make a nice improvement over the nice tangle of cords and charging detritius that pollutes my kitchen countertops. This could be a great organizational addition to any gadget guy's home. Are you listening, honey?
The thing I really liked about is that it hides the cords. I HATE CORDS.
